2011 was Cole’s rookie year in the Legend Car. He raced in 17 races, and was crowned Colorado National Speedway’s Legend Car Rookie of the Year. It was a great year, and he is looking forward to another competitive season in 2012.

In 2010, Cole raced only a select few kart events, instead focusing on the transition to Legend cars. He raced his kart in Sonoma CA, finishing 4th at the Pro Kart Challenge Event held at the Jim Russell Karting Center. He competed in the S2 (Spec Shifter) class. The 2010 season highlight for Cole was his first Legend race at Pikes Peak International Raceway.
2009: Cole raced and won locally in the Spec 125 Junior (S5) Class. Toward the end of the season, he attended the TAG World Finals in Grand Junction. Cole was approved to race S3 in this event (Spec Shifter), and finished the main event on the 5 tier podium in 5th place. A trip to Las Vegas in November for his 3rd SuperNationals, finished out the season.
Cole moved up to the Spec 125 Junior Shifter (S5) in 2008, thanks to the help of Scott Falcone and Falcone Custom Homes. The move up to a full size chassis, complete with front brakes and a 125cc engine kept Cole busy. Cole brought a pair of championships, one for the IMI/The Track club series, and one for the Colorado Sprint Championships.

In 2007 Cole was crowned the Driver of the Year for the Colorado Sprint Championship series. Cole also took first place in the Rotax Mile High Challenge in the Mini Max class, sending him to the Grand Nationals in August. At the Grand Nationals, Cole qualified 8th, but was taken out in a first turn collision in the Pre Final bending the chassis, and ending the race weekend. In the Colorado Sprint Championship Series Cole won the championship in Novice 80 Shifter and was a very close runner up (to Chase Elliott) in the Mini Max championship.

In 2006, Cole kept up with the double duty racing. He also started competing at the newest track in the state, The Track at Centennial, where he was crowned champion in both classes. The inaugural Greeley Grand Prix was held, adding another temporary circuit to the mix, totaling 20 races for the season.
In 2005, Cole continued with shifting, but moved up to an 80cc Honda engine on a Birel chassis. In addition to the shifter, Cole also raced in the Mini Max class. He raced double duty all season, finishing with a pair of club championships. Cole also traveled to Las Vegas in November, competing at the Superkarts USA Super Nationals. In his first national competition, Cole finished on the podium in 4th place.

In 2004, Cole had moved on to yet another new class, the 60 Shifter. He spent much time in the off season at the track, striving to perfect the art of shifting. The hard work paid off in the end with 3rd place season finished in both the Colorado Sprint Championship series and the local IMI club series.
In 2003, Cole moved up to a bigger Cadet chassis powered by a Briggs and Stratton Animal engine. He was competing in the Junior 1 Animal division at the IMI Motorsports Club series, as well as an additional 10 races in the newly formed Colorado Sprint Championship series. He was 5th in points at IMI at the end of the year, and finished 3rd in the CSC series.

In 2002, Cole raced all 12 races held at IMI Motorsports, competing the complete season in Kid Karts. Cole brought home the championship, and also the Most Improved Driver award for the season.
